Harry Potter

I Finally got my Harry potter drawing done. I've got it laying
around for quite some time now and I thought it would be a
good idea to finish it now. I used another picture as sort of
a guide but the drawing didn't turn out quite as I had hoped
for. Nevertheless the final result turned out pretty good.
Especially when you think about how long I've been drawing.
If you want to see the reference picture I used just take a
look at one of my older posts where I showed a neak peak of
This drawing.

Two Different Hands

A while ago I drew these two hands from a youtube tutorial
from the awesome Mark Crilley. as a practise for drawing
realistic hands I followed every step on how to achieve the
right shapes and proportions in the hands. I may have
followed the tutorial a bit too carefully as I really want to be
able to draw things completely from my own imagination
and not following specific steps. But don't get me wrong. I
love watching Mark Crilley's tutorials and they can really
give a helping "hand" along the way of drawing something
difficult. anyway, I think I achived the right look of the hands
and in my opinion they look pretty good.
By the way you should really check out Mark Crilley's
channel on youtube. He's a very talented artist with over 200
videos on his channel and he posts a new video every
single week.

Human Face

This is a drawing of a girls face i drew a while ago following a youtube tutorial from the awesome Mark Crilley. On my drawing the proportions are really not good if you compare it to a real face but in a lot of his tutorials he makes very often a kind of manga style to it so the proportions are a bit different. As you can tell on my drawing her eyes are too big, the overall shape is not that "realistic" and the angle is a bit boring. That being said I think the shading went very well. Mark Crilley of course has also a lot of tutorials on photorealistic stuff including proportions, positions and shading in a realistic looking face and ALL sorts of other drawing tips on environments, angles, manga, backgrounds, clothing and so on. A huge thanks to Mark Crilley for a lot of helping tips along the way. You should really check his channel out :-)

Freehand Drawing: Fallout Vault Boy

Vault Boy
The finished drawing of the Vault Boy from Fallout

I love the gameseries Fallout and I thougt it was about
time to draw just a small drawing of something Fallout- related. So i drew the Vault Boy from Fallout who appears in just about every "newer" Fallout game. The hard thing about drawing this drawing was that I wanted him to look just like the "real deal" so the proportions had to be just right. I think it went very well. I had a reference image to look at while i drew to get the best results but I still had to draw it completely freehanded. It was just drawing and erasing until i got the lines correct so that they had the right angel and size. I'm sure I'll make some other bigger and more advanced realistic-looking drawings from Fallout in the future.

Jesus on the cross

In february it was my dad's birthday so I wanted to draw something for him. I found a book with pictures from the movie "The Passion Of The Christ" and found a picture of Jesus hanging at the cross. I thought it was a very good picture to draw for him so I started to draw. First I drew the head to be sure it was somewhat in the center of the picture. Then I worked my way out from the center and lastly I drew the small little details. Even though I'm not fully satisfied with the look on his face and other small things I think it turned out pretty well and I'm proud of the final result.

Muscular arm

Some months ago (before I started the blog) I drew this drawing of an arm following a step by step drawing book. It took some time and I don't know if love this particular step by step method but I think it turned out pretty well though. Just wanted to show you :)

Sorry for the bad quality btw.

We thought that I could come up with ideas and test things out in this sketch pad and then make the final results in the other one I got some time ago. I'll be sure to update you with the newest drawings I make.
